Roadway Improvements:
Conducted a subsurface investigation to characterize the soil and rock stratigraphy for the purpose of evaluating rock-cut stability and the compressibility of existing soils in the vicinity of the proposed re-alignment and improvements to Frog Hollow Road in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. General scope of field investigation included exploratory borings located in the area of the proposed rock-cut and portions of the proposed alignment crossing existing alluvial soils. Analyzed field data and observations, local soil and rock stratigraphy and laboratory data to prepare a report that provided a description of the investigation and its findings, rock cut recommendations, a soil compressibility evaluation and material and compaction recommendations.
Wastewater Gravity Sewer & Equalization Tanks:
Civil, geotechnical and structural engineering and planning for the site development and foundations for two 200,000-gallon wastewater equalization tanks and replacement of sanitary sewer collection system with gravity sewer connected to city system for the Unilever manufacturing facility in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Bridge Design:
Retained by client to provide design services and construction oversight for the replacement of a failed haulroad crossing with a CON/SPAN precast concrete bridge capable of supporting loads of up to 100 tons in Randolph County, Missouri. Bridge serves as main artery for the haulage of coal combustion residue to a permitted waste disposal facility.
