Lynnette Robinson – Exceptional Employee Finalist

Lynnette Robinson, Office Manager at GREDELL Engineering Resources, Inc. (GER), was nominated for the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce 2023 Exceptional Employee Award.  Lynnette was named in the top four finalists for the award and was recognized at the Chamber Business Summit on Thursday, November 2, 2023.  Nominations and awards were also presented for Small Business of the Year.

Nominees provided profile information to a panel of judges who reviewed and scored each nominee to determine the four finalists.  Finalists were voted for by Chamber members and the public and winners were announced at the Chamber Business Summit held at Capital Bluffs Event Center.

Lynnette’s profile included, “ As Office Manager in a small office, job duties are wide and varied.  I think the best thing about my job are my co-workers.  We have a great team and working in a small office allows me to have a personal relationship with employees.  I interact with respect and do everything in my power to meet goals and expectations.  This sometimes means going “beyond the norm” to reach a mutual agreement.”

GER congratulates all Small Business and Exceptional Employee nominees and winners!  Small Business Award winner – Premium Pets and Exceptional Employee Award winner – Julie Henley!  We are very lucky to be part of a community filled with well deserving businesses and professionals!

 

ACEC-MO 2nd Annual Sporting Clays Tournament

On Thursday, November 2, 2023, GREDELL Engineering Resources, Inc. participated in the 2^nd Annual ACEC-MO Sporting Clays Tournament held at Prairie Groves Shotgun Sports in Columbia, MO.  The tournament consisted of an 8-station course that allowed participants a chance to hit a maximum of 50 targets.  It was a great fall day event for our staff.

Our participants were (pictured, from left to right) Tom Gredell, Dennis Naylor, Marshall Woods, Jacob Fitzpatrick, Cole Mengwasser, and Wayne Elliott.  Marshall placed in a tie for 1^st place and Jacob Fitzpatrick placed 3^rd place in the tournament.  Thanks to ACEC-MO for holding this event.

 

Fun Night = Fundraising!

GREDELL Engineering Resources, Inc. (GER) staff again participated in the Bartlett & West Trivia Night charity event benefiting the United Way of Central Missouri.  Teams of local engineers and others participated in the fun night of brain puzzling trivia.  Teams were competing for a charity of their choice and the top four teams’ charities received a generous donation from Bartlett & West.

Our team consisted of (pictured clockwise below) Drew Henrickson, Michele Henrickson, Gretchen Carlson, Mike Carlson, Carla Gredell, Tom Gredell, Audrey Mengwasser, and Cole Mengwasser.  We had a great evening of trivia, and we want to thank Bartlett & West for sponsoring this event.
